Collaborative Practices Information Physicians who have collaborating agreements with certified registered nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives should be familiar with all requirements and rules of the Board of Medical Examiners and the Board of Nursing.  If you are considering entering a collaborative agreement, you should read the Board of Medical Examiners' administrative rules concerning this issue (see link below).  Information about applications for collaborative practices may be found at the Collaborative Practices Applications Page.  If you are already in a collaborating agreement, you should review the rules again and/or attend one of the collaborative practices seminars to be sure your practice is operating in accordance with the Board's requirements.  For more information on the seminars, please see http://www.masalink.org/education.aspx?id=1340.
