How to Obtain Public Actions
The Board of Medical Examiners and Medical Licensure Commission post synopses of public actions on a current basis. The listings generally will remain for three months. After three months, this information may be accessed by viewing the BME Newsletter's Public Action Reports.
You can look up any physician in our database and determine if there has been a public action against the physician's license, indicated by a "Yes" in the "Public Action" row on the results page.
If there is a public action, there will be a link at the bottom of the page to download a .pdf file of the documents.
Administrative Complaints (statements of the charges) may be obtained by sending a request with the licensee name and license number to mlc@albme.org.
For certified copies of public documents, please send a written request to bme@albme.org.
